Roadkill move another "Lifer"

After trading Todd Helton in the off-season to LVI the Roadkill send Magglio Ordonez to the division-leading NJ Trash Heap in a multi-player deal.

Selected by GRK in the '99 draft (5th rd) Ordonez compiled a career .293/.348/.502 including a personal best .358 BA in '08. Lidge has a career 16-22 3.83 and 78 SV's. His best season was the '06 championship season (4-7 4.15 40 SV's) when the Georgia Closer was virtually unhittable during the playoffs.

Mags was emotional about his move to the Roadkill's TGS rivals but said "It's obvious they pulled the trigger too soon with Todd and loyalty means nothing to this club". Lidge is looking forward to his move as well since the Roadkill front office have shown no urgency to discuss a contract extension.

Former NJT 2nd round pick Delmon Young moves to Mags DH slot & Matt Lindstrom assumes the Closer role in what looks to be a long season for "Roadkill Nation".
