Jason Bay went yard and had 2 RBI and Joba Chamberlain delivered 3 and two
third solid innings as the Outlaw Josey Wales beat the Vermont Fighting Sioux
by a score of 7 to 1.
 
In the top of the 4th inning Outlaw went on top for good scoring one runner.
Adrian Gonzalez drew a walk.  Melvin Mora stepped up next and he slapped a
one-base hit.  Alfonso Soriano got his chance to keep things going, but he
went down on strikes.  Rod Barajas stepped in and he hit a deep fly.  Ryan
Theriot came to the plate and drew a walk.  Bay struck out, unable to help
the rally.  Chamberlain was great in relief and recorded his 1st save.
 
Jake Peavy(4-3) went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Jeff
Suppan(3-1) was hit with the loss.  He allowed 8 hits and 5 walks in 6 and
1/3 innings.
