Kim, Jr. didn't get the message after last game's fatal mistake, he again sent Cliff Floyd barrelling down to 2nd on an attempted steal, only this time it worked. Jimmy Rolllins continued his pesky ways getting a double and triple - after the triple Vermont chose to issue an IBB to the next batter and set up the Vlad the Impaler gb(A). Well, Vlad complied and hit into his second inning DP of the game. Robinson Cano drew Vermont even driving in 2 in the 7th with a 2-out single. |

The Vermont Fighting Sioux nipped the Georgia Roadkill in 10 innings 3 to 2 at
Fighting Sioux Field in a hard fought contest.
The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. Vermont came out the
victor in the 10th inning. After two outs Carlos Quentin doubled. Ryan
Zimmerman stepped up next and he doubled giving Vermont the win and sending
the home town fans into a frenzy. Vermont had only 6 hits for the game.
The victory was credited to Ramon Ramirez(3-2) who went 3 innings, allowing no
runs. The losing pitcher was Aaron Heilman(0-1) in relief.
