At Empire Field the Seattle Pilots outscored the New York Knights 7 to 4.

The game started off with Seattle taking the lead in the first plating an
isolated run using 2 hits. Tim Wakefield(2-1) got help from Kevin Gregg who pitched great and earned his 10th save.
Matt Cain(4-5) was the losing pitcher. He gave up 9 hits and 7 walks in 9 innings.
