Masahiro Tanaka went the distance as the Springfield Isotopes defeated the
Dallas Ft Worth Spurs by the score of 7 to 2 at Turnpike
Stadium.

Tanaka(1-0) was in control of the game from the outset.  He didn't allow much,
just 4 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings.  Springfield totaled 11 hits on the
night. 

Jordan Zimmermann(0-1) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 3 homeruns in 5 and
