The Griz have had their thrills all ready, and it is only 10 games into the season. They have won 7 of the last nine games. Disappointed with an opening day loss; the Griz recovered to play their best baseball - EVER. Defensively - the Griz are GOLD. As of Game 10 - the Grizzlies have been in every game and their Fans have been on their feet cheering and cheering. The Bullpen has been stellar, however it has blown 2 of the 3 extra inning games the Griz has entertained.

The Bears' 2 Mikes - Lowell and supplemental pick Cuddyer have each collected 14 hits, are batting .424, and Cudd's 9 RBIs lead the team. Bannister and Marquis - 2 draft picks are 2-0 and Bannister's ERA is 0.54. Scott Baker leads the team with 13 Ks in 10 innings. No one has claimed the closers role and it appears that is fine with all Bear fans. Bullpen by committee looms large with 6 part time closers.
Youkillis and Phillips have fielded flawlessly on the right side of the infield as team captain Mike Lowell has at 3B. CA Russell Martin leads the team with 4 jacks and Upton has that many thefts to lead the team.
Bear fans are about to search posted boxscores to determine how their road ventures have gone. With a 31 game Block 1 home stand - the Bears hope to get a good jump on the season. EXCITEMENT is the word here in Grundy County this baseball season.
Go Griz !!!!!!!!!!!
