Jesse Litsch carried a no-hitter into the 7th inning as the Vermont Fighting
Sioux outscored the Outlaw Josey Wales 5 to 1.
Litsch(6-7) earned his pay with a solid performance for Vermont. He
surrendered 2 hits and 5 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings improving his ERA from
4.85 to 4.53. The right-handed Litsch lost his no-hit bid when Adrian
Gonzalez singled with nobody out in the 7th inning. Vermont had 8 hits for
the night while Outlaw had 3.
B.J. Ryan earned his 13th save. Tim Hudson(6-8) took the loss. He allowed
