Kelly Johnson HR in 10th drops Sioux

The Chows defense was the key to this game; they robbed 2 HRs and threw out the tying run at the plate to end the game. Both pitchers, Dana Eveland and Jesse Litsch (season high 10 Ks) went the distance.

Both teams were tied at 3 runs apiece after nine innings.  Illinois won it in
the 10th inning.  Kelly Johnson blasted a solo shot (his 7th of the season).
Illinois won despite being out-hit by Vermont 11 hits to 6.  
 
Eveland(6-7) lasted until the end allowing 3 runs for the win. Jesse
Litsch(6-8) was the loser.  He gave up just 4 runs and 6 hits in 10 innings.
