Ricky Nolasco went the distance and first baseman Rich Aurilia homered and had
3 RBI at Thunderdome where the Pocono Chin Music beat the Springfield
Isotopes by the score of 8 to 2.
Aurilia enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He lost the ball over the fence
for three runs (his 4th of the season) in the 1st inning, laced a base-hit in
the 3rd inning and doubled in the 5th inning. Pocono managed 13 hits in
their victory.
The win was credited to Nolasco(8-6) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
C.C. Sabathia(8-3) was charged with the loss. He gave up 7 runs in 6 and 2/3
innings of work.
