Jhonny Peralta slammed a homerun and had 3 RBI and Felix Hernandez whiffed 10
batters as the Seattle Pilots outscored the Lake Champlain Cannibals 7 to
1.

Hernandez(1-0) escaped virtually unscathed against the Lake Champlain hitters.
He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 4 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.
Seattle had 12 hits for the afternoon.

Jeff Francis(1-2) was hit with the loss. He surrendered 6 hits and 1 walk in
6 innings. 'He was really impressive today,' Francis said of his
counterpart. 'Our guys were just swinging at air.'
