Pat Burrell ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Brandon Webb pitched a complete game at Pietruska Park as the Honolulu Hawaiians pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Springfield Isotopes by the count of 7 to 6.
Honolulu won the game with a rally in the bottom of the 9th inning scoring 2 runs on 2 hits. Placido Polanco led off and started the attack as he
delivered a base-hit. Miguel Tejada got his turn next, but he was a strikeout victim. Burrell then popped a two-run clout over the fence (his
2nd of the season) making Honolulu the victors to the delight of the home town faithful. Honolulu rapped out 10 hits for the night.
Webb(1-0) won despite allowing 6 runs on the game. Jonathan Papelbon(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief. Lance Berkman also had 4 hits for the visitors while the newly acquired Placido Polanco had 3 hits for the Hawaiians.
Tomorrow night's matchup features Javier Vazquez for the Isotopes against Chien Ming Wang. Good seats are still available or you can tune in to the game on KHON at 7 pm HST. Mahalo.

Cannibal fans are pulling for a split between the two Eastern powerhouses! Maybe if you two guys beat each other up enough, we can split the defense and drive the lane to the playoffs.
