Aaron Nola had an impressive outing as the Georgia Roadkill defeated the
Vermont Fighting Sioux by the score of 4 to 0 at Fighting Sioux Field.
 
The game started off with Georgia taking the lead in the first with 2 runs on
4 hits.  After two outs Paul Goldschmidt got things going when he laced a
base-hit.  Daniel Murphy stepped up next and he laced a base-knock.  Anthony
Rendon then laced a single scoring a one-base hit run.  A.J. Pollock followed
next and he doubled scoring the final run of the inning.  That early scoring
held up.  Georgia finished with 15 hits while Vermont ended up with 2.  
 
The win was credited to Nola(11-1) who went 8 innings allowing no runs. The
losing pitcher was Trevor Williams(6-5).  He surrendered 15 hits and 1 walk
in 9 innings.
