At Fighting Sioux Field Emilio Pagan(4-2) got the win and the Vermont Fighting
Sioux shutout the Lake Champlain Cannibals in 14 innings 2 to 0.
 
The run-column was full of goose eggs at the end of nine full innings.
Finally, Vermont prevailed in the 14th inning.  After two outs Alex Gordon
started the attack as he doubled.  Chris Taylor stepped into the batter's box
and he popped a two-run clout over the fence giving Vermont the win much to
the delight of the home town crowd.  Vermont had just 6 hits for the night.
 
Tony Watson(2-2) was tagged with the loss in relief.  He surrendered 2 runs
and 3 hits in 1 and 2/3 innings.
