Patrick Corbin went 8 strong innings as the Vermont Fighting Sioux defeated
the Pocono Chin Music 3 to 0 at Fighting Sioux Field.
 
Corbin(4-2) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Pocono offense.  He
didn't give up much, just 4 hits and no walks in 8 innings reducing his ERA
from 2.54 to 2.30.  Neither team managed to score after the 3rd inning.
 
Corbin got help from Kirby Yates who was credited with his 7th save. Reynaldo
Lopez(3-6) was given the loss.  He surrendered 8 hits and 3 walks in 7
innings.
