In a close game it was the Georgia Roadkill 5, the Vermont Fighting Sioux 3 in
13 innings at Fighting Sioux Field.
 
The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings.  Georgia won the hard
fought contest in the 13th inning.  After an out was recorded, Anthony Rendon
started the rally when he doubled.  A.J. Pollock was next to the plate, but
was promptly struck out.  Michael Conforto then cracked a two-run shot.  The
teams had been locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.  
 
Joe Kelly(2-1) got the win allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. Andrew
Chafin(1-1) took the loss in relief.  He surrendered 2 hits and 1 walk in 3
innings.
