Less Filling Championship Series- Game 1

Troy, NY: The fans were excited to watch the first playoff game in Haymaker history at "the Gounds" and Brett Myers made it unforgettable by spotting the potent Grundy County offense to an eight run lead right off the bat. Troy's offense did their best to battle back against ace David Price, even getting 6 runs back off of him; but the Grizzlies bullpen of Badenhop, Duensing and Puts shut the door to give them a 1-0 lead in the series.
