Hamil Moving to Another Galaxy

Troy, NY: The Haymakers have given up their plans to take on the Death Star yesterday by moving Mark "Hamil" Reynolds to the Pocono Chin Music for a second round pick. After a promising start back in 2009 where he hit .277 with a .940 OPS; it's been downhill for Mark with the Troy club. He lost his position in 2010 when Pablo Sandoval arrived and although he played almost everyday as a DH that year he struggled to perform; hitting .207 with a .700 OPS. It was even worse in 2011, when Mark was relegated to the bench again with the emergence of Jose Bautista. He did even worse in the limited role, hitting .133 in 158 at bats.
"Mark is a great bat," said GM Ken Anderson, "But with Pablo, Joey Bats, Corey Hart and Billy (Butler); there was just no where to play him. So we had to make a move. We could also not get him to turn it around after his great start a few years ago."
Reynolds right handed power bat should succeed in Pocono, especially hitting behind Prince Fielder. The 6th pick in the second round will be the earliest pick in the draft for Troy at this point. The Troy faithful may have a chance to see him a few more times during the playoffs.
