Soria Puts Out Fire Again as Georgia Rally Just Misses

The Road Kill lit into Outlaw's bullpen in the ninth inning for three runs and sent the potential tying run to third base with one out. Joakim Soria saved the day again by inducing Ryan Garko to ground out to third and Spilborghs to fly out to left. "A guy who can shut the door on a team as powerful as Georgia two days in a row has got to be our MVP", spouted Andy Pettitte who was credited with the win and joined Jake Peavy in the "I Owe Joakim Soria A Dinner" club. Ryan Ludwick's three-run blast in the bottom of the seventh was the big hit for Outlaw who managed seven runs on only eight hits.

as the Outlaw Josey Wales beat the Georgia Roadkill by the count of 7 to

Outlaw had 4 runs cross the plate in the 3rd inning with the help of 4 hits.

when he laced a one-base hit plating two runs.  Georgia had a chance in the
9th but they came up short.
