Scotty Kazmir Shuts Out Troy To Cap Well-Pitched Series

The words well-pitched series and NASBL are usually a contradiction of terms, but not during Troy's recent three-game series at Outlaw Pond. Scotty Kazmir captured the rubber match for Outlaw by throwing a seven-hit, ten strikeout shutout at the Haymakers. With several Outlaw regulars resting, the Troy and Outlaw pitching staffs enjoyed a combined 1.70 ERA for the series while hitters suffered a paltry .165 batting average.
