Trevor Plouffe had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at Fighting Sioux Field as the
Vermont Fighting Sioux beat the Pocono Chin Music by the count of 4 to

Pocono never recovered after Vermont took the lead in the 6th inning plating
one baserunner using 3 hits.  J.A. Happ(1-0) got help from Jason Motte who
pitched great and earned his 1st save.  
 
Jaime Garcia(0-1) suffered the loss.  While he was the losing pitcher, he
still struck out 8 batters in 5 and 1/3 innings.  
 
'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said Happ, 'I got burned on a
couple of pitches. But we won the game, and that's all that matters.'
