Robinson Cano smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs
beat the Pocono Chin Music by a score of 9 to 2.

Cano had a big day against Pocono. He stroked a one-base hit in the 4th
inning, clubbed a solo home run in the 5th inning and lost the ball over the
fence for three runs in the 7th inning. For the game Lehigh Valley out-hit
Pocono 12 to 7.

The win was credited to Daisuke Matsuzaka(3-1) who went 6 and 1/3 innings
allowing 2 runs. Barry Zito(3-9) was charged with the loss. He got hammered,
allowing 10 hits and 4 walks in 6 innings.

For Lehigh Valley the victory was a welcome one, indeed. They had been
struggling in their last ten games with a disappointing 2-8 record. Pocono
has a record of 35-51 after the loss.
