The Lake Champlain Cannibals edged the Pocono Chin Music at Thunderdome by the
score of 7 to 6.

Jonathan Sanchez(8-2) delivered a fine performance for Lake Champlain. He
went 6 and 1/3 innings and surrended up 5 hits and 1 walk. Sanchez recorded
7 strikeouts and was touched for 2 homeruns. Pocono had a chance to come
back in the 9th but they came up short.

Sanchez got help from Jose Valverde who was credited with his 7th save. Dan
Haren(4-10) absorbed the loss. Bill Anderson, Jr. was in a contemplative
mood after the tough loss, 'It is really hard to lose this kind of a game.
It may seem weird to some, but it is easier to take the occasional blow-out
loss. It is the ones that just barely get away that hurt so much - like this
one!'
