Hanley Ramirez rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Illinois Chow Chows
defeated the Pocono Chin Music 5 to 4 at Thunderdome.

Ramirez had a good evening at the plate. He smashed a solo-shot out of the
park in the 1st inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run
in the 5th inning. Pocono threatened in the 9th but Illinois was able to put
down the rally.

Roy Halladay(6-4) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings.
Francisco Cordero gained credit for his 3rd save. The loss was charged to
Tommy Hunter(1-1). He served up 4 gopher balls in 9 innings.

'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said Halladay, 'I got burned
on a couple of pitches. But we won the game, and that's all that matters.'
