The Dallas Ft Worth Spurs edged the Illinois Chow Chows at Turnpike Stadium by
the score of 7 to 6.

Chad Green(6-1) slammed the door shut in an excellent relief performance.  No
one got on base in his 1 and 1/3 innings.  Illinois made it exciting in the
9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across. 

Fernando Rodney preserved the game for Green, recording his his 15th save.
The losing pitcher was Dellin Betances(2-3) in relief.
