In an entertaining game at Turnpike Stadium the final score was the Canyon
Country Cannons 5, the Dallas Ft Worth Spurs 2.

Canyon Country came up with 3 runs in the top of the 4th inning.  Buster Posey
led off and keyed the rally when he drew a walk.  Joe Mauer stepped up next
and he smacked a single.  Nelson Cruz then would hit into a force play
scoring a run.  Matt Joyce stepped in and he cleared the fences for a two-run
home run.  Craig Kimbrel pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 11th save.

Jose Quintana(5-2) got the win allowing 2 runs in 5 innings. Jhoulys
Chacin(3-2) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 5 runs and 7 hits in 6 and
2/3 innings.
