Chad Billingsley struck out 10 batters at Thunderdome as the New Jersey Trash
Heap beat the Pocono Chin Music 8 to 2.
Johnny Damon provided the offensive punch. He doubled in the 1st inning,
doubled scoring two baserunners in the 2nd inning and blasted a solo shot in
the 9th inning. New Jersey rapped out 11 hits for the night.
The win went to Billingsley(15-11) who allowed 2 runs in the game. Kevin
Correia(13-10) was given the loss. He gave up 8 runs and 10 hits in 8
innings.
Bill Anderson, Jr. was impressed with Billingsley and his 10 strikeouts.
'It's tough to generate runs if you can't make contact with the ball.'
