The Vermont Fighting Sioux defeated the Canyon Country Cannons by a score of 6

to 3 at Fighting Sioux Field.

Vermont scored 3 runs in the 3rd inning.  That was all the offense they were

to need.  Neither team managed to score after the 3rd inning. 

The win was credited to Felix Hernandez(5-0) who went 8 and 1/3 innings

allowing 3 runs. Brad Ziegler was credited with his 7th save.  Carlos

Martinez(0-1) was tagged with the loss.  Vermont scored big getting 6 runs

off him in 2 innings.
