Surf make some "Waves" in Block 1 Deals

Miami FL,

The Miami Surf’s Management made a big push for the club’s chances of not only making the NASBL Playoffs, but bringing Miami a World Series Trophy. The Surf acquired two of the games best closers in Billy Wagner and Jason Isringhausen. Surf Management felt they had the Starting Pitchers but were a little short on the relievers. Manager Jim Bessinger was quoted as saying, “These moves should shore up any holes we might have had in our bullpen.” JJ Putz was also excited about the moves saying, “ it takes a lot of pressure off of me.”
When asked if the Surf were giving up too many draft choices too early and giving away the future, Bessinger stated "Our future is Now, we have enough young talented guys already. We feel like our time is now and we will do whatever it takes to make that a reality."
"I mean when you can go Izzy in the 7th, Wagner in the 8th and Putz in the 9th your gonna Win alot of games."
