In a lop-sided win the EdCouch New Potatoes ripped the Dallas Ft Worth Spurs
by a 8 to 2 count.

Matt Carpenter was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he
provided much of the offense for the visitors.  He delivered a solo blast in
the 1st inning, doubled bringing in a run in the 3rd inning and doubled
bringing in two baserunners in the 4th inning.  EdCouch had 10 hits for the
game and Dallas Ft Worth had 3. 

Marco Estrada(12-3) went 6 innings allowing 1 run for the win. The loss was
charged to Chris Archer(6-11).  He allowed EdCouch 6 runs in 2 and 2/3
innings of work.
