Bryce Harper left the yard and had 4 RBI at Turnpike Stadium as the Dallas Ft
Worth Spurs beat the Seattle Pilots by the count of 7 to 6.

Harper had a big day at the plate.  He blasted a two-run home run in the 1st
inning, ripped a base-hit in the 5th inning and doubled scoring two
baserunners in the 7th inning.  Seattle made it exciting in the 9th, but they
were unable to push the needed runs across.

Joe Blanton(2-0) got the win allowing 2 runs in 1 inning. Blanton was helped
out by Hector Rondon who recorded his 14th save.  Williams Perez(0-1) was the
losing pitcher in relief.

Dallas Ft Worth now has a record of a division leading 37-21.  With this loss,
Seattle has a 4-6 record of late, 23-28 overall.
