Man, the Haymakers get an over/under of 90 wins, a 4/3 chance of winning the division, but end up in the field with a 50/1 shot of winning the World Series? I'll take that bet....where's my bookie??? :)

Ken,

Oops, oversight. I fixed the odds, though hopefully you got your money down at the 50/1 odds.

Thanks for pointing out.

Halladay (as part of the field) at 35-1 to win the Cy Young - I'll take that bet.

It's cool...it was a lot of fun to read. I have to work on my article writing skills because I'd love to be able to put stuff like this and the prior article together. All mine end up sounding exactly the same!

Brad - I agree re: Halladay. Seems like a good bet at those odds. For whatever reason HAL was giving Doc no love. I'd love to see the formulas SOM uses for its award voting.

I have him as my ace in another league, and he does fairly well, but unfortunately (for both of us) he does not perform to the crazy good level that he does in real life in my replays. Lots of nice innings, but not spectacular performance. Of course, the dice gods are probably listening and will now grant him 3 no hitters and a 22-6 record for both of us!
