OUTLAW POND - Rumors and allegations continue to swirl around this small Texas baseball town. The latest speculation is that Omar Vizquel's alleged pitching appearance was a test to see if he could possibly step into the rotation. Whispers overheard that Tim Hudson's arm may need to go under the knife started the Omar-as-starting-pitcher speculation, and the sudden development of Ryan Theriot as a solid shortstop is fueling these fantasy fires.
Will Omar step into a long-term spot in the Outlaw rotation, or is this just the prattling of a few nut job conspiracy theorists? Stay tuned!
