At Turnpike Stadium, the Dallas Ft Worth fans witnessed a great pitcher's
duel.  Chris Archer(1-0) finally bested his Springfield opposite, Max
Scherzer(0-1), by the score of 3 to 0.

Dallas Ft Worth set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring one
runner using 2 hits.  That early run support was all that Archer required.
Dallas Ft Worth and Springfield each finished the night with 7 hits.

Archer got help from Chad Green who earned his 1st save.  Scherzer was the
