Shortstop Brandon Crawford lofted one into the 'cheap seats' at Turnpike
Stadium where the red-hot Dallas Ft Worth Spurs beat the Illinois Chow Chows
by the score of 5 to 4.

Dallas Ft Worth had the game winning rally in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs.
After two outs Tommy Pham was the sparkplug when he drew a walk.  Aaron Hicks
stepped up next and he drew a walk.  Mike Moustakas then reached on an error.
Dellin Betances then bounced one in the dirt for a wild pitch bringing in a
run.  Aaron Altherr came up to bat and smacked a single scoring the final run
of the inning.  Illinois threatened in the 9th but Dallas Ft Worth was able
to put down the rally. 

Chad Green(2-0) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Fernando Rodney
recorded his 7th save.  The loss was charged to Betances(0-1) in relief.  It
was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 1 and 1/3
innings of work.
