Shohei Ohtani blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Madison Bumgarner went the
distance at Fighting Sioux Field where the Pocono Chin Music beat the Vermont
Fighting Sioux 9 to 4.
 
Ohtani was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day
at their team's expense.  He stroked a base-hit in the 4th inning, laced a
single in the 5th inning, clubbed a solo home run in the 7th inning and
bombed a two-run dinger in the 8th inning.  Pocono totaled 19 hits on the
afternoon.  
 
Bumgarner(1-0) lasted until the end allowing 4 runs for the win. Trevor
Williams(4-4) absorbed the loss.  He pitched 6 innings allowing 13 hits and
no walks.
 
The win by Pocono is a very welcome one as they have been struggling in recent
days.  Their record now stands at 22-27 - only 2-8 in their last ten games.
