Patrick Corbin reeled off a total of 15 strikeouts and Randal Grichuk knocked
2 homeruns at Fighting Sioux Field as the Vermont Fighting Sioux won in their
last at-bat beating the Dallas Ft Worth Spurs by the count of 4 to 3.
 
The game was decided in the 9th inning.  Jake Marisnick delivered a solo blast
resulting in an exciting win for Vermont and a wild post-game celebration by
the home town fans.  Dallas Ft Worth had 10 hits in the game while Vermont
had 7, but Vermont had the more timely hits.  
 
Kirby Yates(6-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 inning. Blaine
Hardy(2-2) was the loser in relief.  He surrendered 1 run and 2 hits in 3 and
2/3 innings.
