Cameron Maybin had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Dallas Ft Worth Spurs won in
dramatic fashion over the Slatington Bulldogs by a score of 4 to 3 at
Turnpike Stadium.

Dallas Ft Worth scored the decisive runs in a big 9th inning scoring 2 runs on
2 hits.  Jason Heyward led off and got things going when he drew a walk.
After an out was recorded, Nick Hundley came to bat and banged out a single
knocking in a run.  After another out, Maybin then stroked a one-base hit
giving Dallas Ft Worth the win much to the delight of the home town crowd.
Despite losing, Slatington out-hit Dallas Ft Worth 10 to 7. 

The winning pitcher was Joe Blanton(1-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Mark
Melancon(0-1) suffered the loss in relief.  'What a game!,' Blanton said
afterward.  'When we won it I almost couldn't believe it!'
