Center fielder Andrew McCutchen slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Dallas
Ft Worth Spurs defeated the Vermont Fighting Sioux by the score of 8 to 6 at
Turnpike Stadium.

Dallas Ft Worth started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their
half of the first as they scored 3 runs on 3 base hits.  The key at-bat was
by Anthony Rizzo who made the Dallas Ft Worth fans a happy lot when he
tripled which was good for two runs.  Vermont had a chance to come back in
the 9th but they came up short. 

Brett Anderson(2-1) went 8 innings allowing 4 runs for the victory. Hector
Rondon earned his 3rd save.  The losing pitcher was A.J. Burnett(0-1).  He
got hit pretty hard, allowing 11 hits and 3 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.

With this win, Dallas Ft Worth has a 8-5 record.  They have been 6-4 lately.
Vermont has a record of 0-1 after the loss.
