Anthony Rizzo cleared three ducks from a very crowded pond with a grand slam
as the Dallas Ft Worth Spurs defeated the Shawnee Crows 11 to 4 at Turnpike
Stadium.

Rizzo was a one-man wrecking crew.  He delivered a single plating a run in the
3rd inning, doubled which plated a run in the 5th inning and electrified the
crowd with a Grand Slam home run in the 6th inning.  Both teams totaled 14
hits on the night. 

The win was credited to Brett Anderson(1-0) who went 8 innings allowing 4
runs. Yordano Ventura(0-1) was the losing pitcher.  He was unable to control
the Dallas Ft Worth offense and allowed 8 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.

Rizzo said, 'It was just all timing. I had pretty good rhythm at the plate
tonight.  You've got to take advantage of mistakes when you can.  A couple
pitches were definitely up a little bit - right in my zone.'
