Chris Archer retired 11 batters on strikeouts as the Shawnee Crows defeated
the Dallas Ft Worth Spurs by the score of 4 to 3 at Turnpike Stadium.

The game was decided in the 9th inning.  J.J. Hardy doubled.  Ender Inciarte
followed and he slapped a one-base hit.  Stephen Piscotty then would hit into
a force play scoring the run.  The Dallas Ft Worth bats were silent in the
bottom of the 9th. 

Jose Alvarez(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3
innings. Alvarez got relief help from Alex Wilson who gained credit for his
2nd save.  Garrett Richards(1-1) suffered the loss.
