Robbie Erlin(1-0) and Chris Archer(0-1) locked horns in a pitcher's duel with
Erlin and the Vermont Fighting Sioux coming out on top of the Dallas Ft Worth
Spurs 3 to 1.

Vermont had 2 runs cross the plate in the bottom of the 3rd inning. The early
run support proved sufficient for Erlin and Vermont. That was all the run
support Erlin required. Vermont took care of Dallas Ft Worth with no trouble
in the 9th.

Will Smith got the save, his 2nd.
