The Grundy County Grizzlies scored 4 runs in the 4th inning and nipped the
Vermont Fighting Sioux 4 to 3 at Fighting Sioux Field in a hard fought
contest.
 
Grundy County scored all of the necessary runs in the 4th inning when they
tallied 4 runs on 2 hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Justin Morneau
who deflated the mood of the partisan fans when he cleared the bases with a
Grand Slam homerun.  The pitchers took over after the 4th inning as neither
team was able to score again.  
 
Zack Greinke(1-2) went 6 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. J.J. Putz
earned the save, his 2nd.  Tommy Hanson(1-1) absorbed the loss.  He
surrendered 2 hits and 6 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
