Dustin Pedroia had 2 base hits as the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs bested the
Dallas Ft Worth Spurs 5 to 3 at Turnpike Stadium.

Alex Wood(7-0) was solid if not spectacular.  He went 6 and 1/3 innings and
surrended up 6 hits and 4 walks and gave up 2 homeruns.  Lehigh Valley had 10
hits overall, while Dallas Ft Worth had 6. 

Adam Warren gained credit for his 2nd save.  The losing pitcher was Jhoulys
Chacin(5-4).  'He gutted it out' Kevin Burns said of Wood.  'I was very
impressed by his tenacity.'
