First baseman Brandon Belt launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Turnpike
Stadium as the incredible EdCouch New Potatoes beat the Dallas Ft Worth Spurs
by the count of 9 to 2.

Belt provided much of the offense.  He blasted a two-run home run in the 4th
inning, doubled in the 6th inning and cracked a two-run shot in the 9th
inning.  EdCouch out-hit Dallas Ft Worth for the game, 14 hits to 4. 

Adam Warren(8-2) went 6 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Mike
Leake(9-8) was tagged with the loss.  He served up 4 gopher balls in 6
innings. 

'Actually, I didn't feel that comfortable at the plate tonight' Belt said
after the game.  'Despite that, I'm happy with the results!
