The EdCouch New Potatoes edged the Dallas Ft Worth Spurs in 10 innings at
Turnpike Stadium by the score of 2 to 1.

The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings.  EdCouch won it in the
10th inning.  Juan Uribe laced a base-knock.  Jarrod Saltalamacchia was next
and he reached on an error.  Brandon Belt was a strikeout victim, unable to
help out.  Matt Carpenter followed and he doubled scoring the run.  Both
teams ended up with 7 hits on the afternoon. 

The victory was credited to Brett Cecil(4-3) who went 2 innings, allowing no
runs. Cecil got help from Wade Davis who earned his 42nd save.  Dallas
Keuchel(13-6) was the loser.
