Dallas Keuchel(5-3), with relief help from Ryan Madson, blanked the Georgia
Roadkill at Turnpike Stadium. The Dallas Ft Worth Spurs scored 7 runs for
the victory.
The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Anthony Rizzo. He belted a three-run homer in the 5th inning and
banged out a single which plated a run in the 7th inning. Dallas Ft Worth
ended up with 11 hits for the game while Georgia had 4.
Gerrit Cole(4-5) took the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 10 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.
