Charlie Blackmon had 4 hits and 2 RBI and Jake Arrieta racked up an impressive
total of 10 strikeouts as the Georgia Roadkill crushed the Dallas Ft Worth
Spurs 12 to 0.

Blackmon had a big day with his bat.  He singled in the 3rd inning, ripped a
solo home run in the 4th inning, stroked a base-hit scoring a run in the 7th
inning and tripled in the 9th inning.  Georgia bats were very productive in
the 4th inning which saw them score 6 runs on 8 hits.  Georgia banged out 20
hits on the night. 

For Arrieta(4-6) it was his 2nd shutout this year. Garrett Richards(3-3) took
the loss.  He allowed 3 homeruns in 4 innings of work. 

Red Robbins was impressed with Arrieta and his 10 strikeouts.  'It's tough to
generate runs if you can't make contact with the ball.'
