Chris Snyder had 2 base hits and 4 RBI as the Vermont Fighting Sioux topped
the Springfield Isotopes by a score of 7 to 5 at Fighting Sioux
Field.

Vermont scored 3 runs in the 7th inning. The key offensive moment was
provided by Albert Pujols who excited the crowd when he lost the ball over
the fence for three runs (his 27th of the season). Springfield threatened in
the 9th but Vermont was able to put down the rally.

J.C. Romero(3-2) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. B.J. Ryan got
the save, his 15th. C.C. Sabathia(12-10) was given the loss. He was knocked
around, surrendering 7 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings.

'We won because we did the little things right.' Justin Rabidoux said after
the game. 'This is why we practice things over and over and over, so when we
get in close games we don't make mistakes.'
