batters as the Outlaw Josey Wales man-handled the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs -
the final score was 15 to 3.

Harden(4-2) looked very much in control throughout the night. He gave up just
4 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings and was touched for 2 homeruns. Outlaw lit up
the scoreboard in the 2nd inning which saw them plate 5 runs on 4 hits and
the 8th inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 5 hits. Outlaw kept the
pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.

Gil Meche(2-4) suffered the loss. He gave up 6 runs and 6 hits in 1 and 1/3
innings. Mark Hildebrant was asked about the performance of Harden, 'He had
his good stuff out there tonight. The fans really get into it when the
strikeouts start mounting up - and that seems to give him even more
adrenalin.'

Brett Myers went the distance as the Vermont Fighting Sioux beat the Pocono
Chin Music by a score of 12 to 7.

Carlos Quentin had a big evening at the plate. He stroked a one-base hit in
the 1st inning, doubled plating a run in the 2nd inning and blasted a two-run
home run (his 11th of the season) in the 4th inning. Pocono was not lacking
for run support as they scored in 5 separate innings, yet victory eluded them
as they seemed to forget that pitching is also needed to win ballgames.

Myers(6-3) allowed 7 runs on the game. Saul Rivera(0-1) suffered the loss in
relief. He gave up 3 runs and 4 hits in 1 and 1/3 innings.

Overbay walks off with double

Lyle Overbay's walk off double with 1 out in the 9th scoring pinch runner Coco Crisp propelled Vermont to a 4-3 win over Pocono.

much of the offense for the visitors. He lifted one out of the park for a

5th inning and doubled resulting in a run in the 7th inning. Overall Pocono
out-hit Vermont 17 to 11.

First baseman Albert Pujols had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Vermont Fighting Sioux
defeated the New Jersey Trash Heap in 11 innings by the score of 7 to 5 at
Fighting Sioux Field.

Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings. Vermont won the
hard fought contest in the 11th inning. Coco Crisp led off and started the
rally when he drew a walk. Lyle Overbay got his turn next, but he was a
strikeout victim. Pujols then bombed a two-run dinger (his 11th of the
season) resulting in an exciting win for Vermont and a raucous post-game
celebration by the home town fans. Vermont had 10 hits for the afternoon.

The win went to Hideki Okajima(4-0) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Brad
