The Pocono Chin Music defeated the Vermont Fighting Sioux by a score of 5 to 1
at Fighting Sioux Field.
Vermont was unable to recover after Pocono went ahead in the 6th inning as
they scored 2 runs on 5 base hits. The key at-bat was by Neil Walker who
helped quiet the crowd when he smacked a single which was good for two runs.
Pocono had 13 hits for the night while Vermont had 5.
Lucas Harrell(1-0) was the winner allowing 1 run in 8 innings. Jarrod
Parker(1-1) was the losing pitcher. He surrendered 2 runs and 7 hits in 5
and 2/3 innings.
